Anori is an AI-native intelligence platform for building development. It connects multi-modal data that is usually kept in separate systems - municipal zoning codes, architectural CAD files and financial pro formas - so that cities, architects, developers and investors can work from a shared picture across the building lifecycle. The company was spun out of Alphabet's X (The Moonshot Factory) and is staffed by engineers, scientists and domain experts.
The company's technical work spans generative AI, multi-modal data integration, urban planning and zoning analytics, architectural CAD data processing and financial pro forma modelling. These capabilities are assembled in the Anori Platform, which applies generative AI to the combined data: developers can model trade-offs at an early stage, architects can design with real constraints in view, cities can assess proposals more quickly with visibility into feasibility and impact, and investors gain transparency into the underlying assumptions.
Anori frames its work against a specific problem in the built environment: by 2030, nearly 3 billion people may lack adequate housing. The company's position is that the industry must build differently to meet that demand, and that better shared intelligence is one lever for doing so. Its platform is aimed at the verticals where that decision-making happens - urban planning and municipal government, architecture, real estate development, construction and building development, real estate investment and finance, and housing.
