Bridger is building what it describes as the world's first autonomous financial services firm: an Agentic CFO platform in which AI agents deliver comprehensive financial services at fixed rates, with every engagement reviewed and signed off by licensed CPAs. The system provides clients with up-to-date books, real-time answers, continuous reconciliation and reporting, and automated monitoring of tax, payroll and reporting deadlines. It integrates directly into clients' existing systems and processes millions of data points in seconds.
The engineering work spans agentic AI, financial automation, real-time data processing and systems integration, alongside tax compliance and payroll automation. Agents operate continuously and are kept current with the latest tax laws and regulations; 100% of engagements are reviewed by licensed CPAs. The stated aim is to combine Big Four quality with the speed of software.
Bridger says it serves more than 1,000 clients across verticals including veterinary practices, nonprofit organisations, retail and other growing businesses, and that it is already profitable. The company has raised significant seed funding (amount unspecified). Its team includes people from MIT, Blackstone, Microsoft and EY, spanning engineering and finance.
