Cincinnati Children's is a nonprofit academic medical center established in 1883, dedicated to improving child health through comprehensive pediatric healthcare, research, and medical education. It holds the top position on the U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll for 2024-25 and has been consistently ranked among the nation's best children's hospitals for more than 15 years.

The institution operates across southern Ohio, northern Kentucky, and serves patients nationally and internationally. It trains more than 600 residents and clinical fellows each year, making it one of the largest pediatric residency training programs in the country. In fiscal year 2025, Cincinnati Children's secured $239.1 million in external research funding, placing it as the second-largest recipient of pediatric research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
