ConductorAI builds software for the United States federal government, where its Conduit platform automates document approvals and compliance screening across complex approval workflows. The system applies artificial intelligence and large language models to tasks that have traditionally required staff to work through thousands of pages of guidance, with the stated aim of freeing them to concentrate on critical judgement instead.
Conduit operates across multiple security classification levels and is deployed both cloud-native and on-premises, including classified air-gapped environments that require no internet access for large language model inference. The company claims an order-of-magnitude improvement in throughput: week-long approval processes are reduced to minutes, and review cycles that run to a year are cut to months. Technical work spans large language models, document processing and automation, compliance screening, security classification and workflow automation, alongside deployment engineering for offline and restricted networks.
The company's customers include federal agencies and the Department of Defense, among them the Air Force, Space Force and the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO); it has also assisted more than 500 commercial companies with AI-related compliance efforts. ConductorAI raised a $15m Series A led by Lux Capital. Its working environment is oriented towards mission-critical government workflows and the secure, classified settings in which they run.
