Ent Security builds an intent-aware security platform for the AI-native enterprise. Its core product, the Ent Platform, reads human, AI, and app activity in real time to establish not just what users and AI agents do but why they do it, allowing security teams to intervene at the moment of risk rather than investigate incidents days later. The system extends endpoint security into a real-time prevention layer spanning both human and AI-driven work.
The product line covers several capabilities built on this behavioural foundation: Insider Risk Detection, which analyses real-time human, AI, and app activity with full behavioural context; AI Usage Governance, governing how AI agents and AI-driven work are used across the enterprise; Data Loss Prevention, intervening at the moment of risk based on intent-aware signals; Last-Mile Threat Prevention, stopping threats in real time; and Incident Investigation, conducted with full behavioural context.
Ent is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It has raised $100m in seed funding and is in production with Global 2000 customers, with deployments across the hospitality, financial services, and defence sectors. Investors include Decibel, Sequoia, Crosspoint Capital, and In-Q-Tel.
The company was founded by Elias Manousos and Brandon Dixon, previously co-founders of RiskIQ, which was acquired by Microsoft; the team behind Microsoft Security Copilot is also part of Ent. The stated motivation for the company was to bring prevention back to cybersecurity after more than a decade of reactive, detection-only approaches.
