EvolutionIQ, founded in 2019, builds Claims Guidance AI: software that tells insurance claims adjusters which claims to look at next and what action to take. The company's platform delivers specific Next Best Action guidance for claims management, with the stated aim of helping injured workers reach better outcomes and of speeding recoveries. It serves the majority of U.S. disability carriers, and operates in the United States, Europe and Australia.
The technology behind the platform spans machine learning, explainable AI and full-stack web application development. Explainability is central to the product design: the guidance is intended to amplify rather than replace human judgment, so claims decisions remain with the adjusters. The company has also deployed large language model-powered features for medical synthesis within the platform.
EvolutionIQ has grown from three founders to more than 200 employees. Engineers, data scientists and insurance experts work closely together, and the engineering culture is built around simplicity, transparency and continuous learning, with an emphasis on code quality, testing and maintainability alongside a fast pace of work. The verticals it works in are insurance, including disability insurance and workers' compensation.
