Georgia Farm Bureau is a voluntary, non-governmental agricultural organisation founded on June 17th 1937 in Bartow, Georgia, by 50 farmers from seven counties. It represents Georgia farmers and rural communities through grassroots advocacy, member benefits and insurance products, and today counts nearly 300,000 member families across 158 county Farm Bureau organisations. Membership automatically includes affiliation with state and national Farm Bureau federations.
The organisation operates across agriculture, insurance, legislative advocacy and rural community services.
