Mintive builds infrastructure for enterprises deploying AI agents in production. Its central product is a governed gateway that connects agents to models, tools, company data and internal systems via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Each agent is given an individual identity, least-privilege credentials, scoped tool access and an auditable record of its actions. The company was formerly known as MintMCP and rebranded to Mintive.
The platform comprises several components. An MCP Gateway supports approved MCP server catalogs and role-based tool bundles; an LLM Gateway connects agents to models with granular access controls and audit logs; and monitoring and cost-control tooling covers agent operations. A security layer, Mint Guard, provides prompt-injection defenses, private network access and data-loss-prevention integrations. Coworker Agents operate inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. Technical work spans the Model Context Protocol, agent infrastructure, LLM gateways, identity and access management, and enterprise SSO via SAML and OIDC.
Named customer organisations include Coursera, Braze, DNSFilter, Workstream, Flashfood, Stability AI and Modern Treasury, spanning enterprise software, fintech, edtech, developer and security tooling, and food and grocery technology. The company reports a SOC 2 Type II audit, HIPAA compliance, penetration testing and encryption, with data-residency options in the EU and US; its footprint covers the United States and the European Union.
The engineering work is oriented towards security, governance and compliance, with an emphasis on moving customers from experimentation to production. Mintive is built for engineering and security teams.
