Parelio is seeking a highly motivated, experienced DevOps Engineer to help design and deploy the infrastructure for the next generation of tools for our industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing and deploying secure and resilient application infrastructure.
You will be responsible for helping design, build and scale our backend infrastructure, building deployment, monitoring, logging, and auditing systems. You will also assist in overseeing and guiding overall security practices. You must be comfortable wearing multiple hats while offering up creative yet pragmatic solutions. You will also enjoy working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Skills & Requirements

3-5 years experience in a system administrator or DevOps role

Strong experience optimizing and scaling a WSGI-based application infrastructure

Deep understanding of Ubuntu

Strong experience administrating PostgreSQL

Firm understanding of system security

Experience automating configuration and deployments with tools like Ansible

Proficiency with Python

Familiarity with git

Experience building and maintaining high-availability applications
