PreVeil builds end-to-end encrypted email and file-sharing products designed to keep sensitive data protected even when servers are breached and passwords are compromised. The technical work centres on applied cryptography, end-to-end encryption and data protection, with an emphasis on combining military-grade security with everyday usability. All products are designed and developed in the USA.
The company's three products are Encrypted Email, which integrates with existing tools such as Outlook and Gmail while letting users keep their current email addresses; Encrypted File Sharing; and a Compliance Accelerator, which helps organisations meet CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR and HIPAA requirements without large internal security teams. PreVeil serves more than 2,500 defence contractors, with additional customers in aerospace, healthcare, legal and financial services.
PreVeil was born out of research from MIT and was founded on the idea that security should not require sacrifice - that strong security and ease of use are not mutually exclusive. It operates in the USA.
