The Semarchy data management platform has been named a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Master Data Management. The firm's name is a portmanteau of "semantic" and "hierarchy", reflecting a stated aim of making data meaningful and organised; its guiding premise is that data should enable businesses to make better decisions more quickly.
The company was started by a group of former Sunopsis colleagues who regrouped after Oracle acquired Sunopsis. It describes its team as creative, motivated and talented engineers working within a people-first culture. Semarchy operates from headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in Lyon and Paris, London and New Delhi - four countries and five cities.
