Seven AI, founded in 2024, is the first agentic security platform built around swarming AI agents that make decisions and act autonomously to achieve cybersecurity goals without human intervention. The 7AI Agentic Security Platform covers the full security operations lifecycle, from ingestion to response, using swarming agents to take on work that does not require human judgement.
The company works across a set of technical domains that includes agentic AI, autonomous and swarming agents, GenAI threat defence, and the automation of alert triage and incident response. Its stated purpose is to shift non-human work to machines so that defenders can concentrate on strategic tasks, in pursuit of better security outcomes and less alert fatigue.
Seven AI raised $130m in a Series A round described as the largest Series A in cybersecurity history. The round was backed by four investor firms: Greylock Partners, CRV, Spark Capital and Index Ventures.
The company was founded by Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, cybersecurity practitioners and co-founders of Cybereason. It operates in the cybersecurity, security operations and managed detection and response, and enterprise IT security verticals.
