Texas Family Care Network (TFCN) is a nonprofit division of Pressley Ridge and a Single-Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) working to transform the child welfare system in Texas through Community-Based Care. It partners with families, providers, and local communities to strengthen outcomes for children, youth, and families, with a stated focus on permanency: securing permanent and stable homes for children and ensuring that a child's first placement is their last.
Its work centres on two service lines. The first is SSCC-delivered Community-Based Care for children, youth, and families, provided through coordinated networks of local partner agencies. The second is individualized, coordinated service delivery, in which comprehensive care and support are assembled across many local partner agencies using a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. Related areas of practice include child welfare case management and continuum-of-care coordination.
Geographically, TFCN operates in Texas, serving Region 5 (Deep East Texas) and Dallas County (Region 3D). Its operating model is community-centred, building on the strengths, resources, and relationships specific to each community, and its service delivery is described as family-driven and youth-guided.
Internally, the organisation cites core values of prioritizing safety and well-being and of collaborating with communities to improve outcomes. TFCN sits within the child welfare, family services, and nonprofit/social services verticals. Further information is available at https://txfcn.org/.
