Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) operates a cloud-based data platform built on what it describes as the world's most comprehensive air transaction database. The dataset reflects billions of air travel transactions annually, with bookings data extending up to 330 days in advance, and is compiled and analysed in partnership with the International Air Transport Association (IATA). ARC delivers travel intelligence from this data to airlines, travel agencies, airports and destinations worldwide, through APIs, Snowflake data sharing and business intelligence tools powered by Tableau.
Alongside its analytics business, ARC provides the financial settlement infrastructure between airlines and travel agencies in the United States, processing hundreds of billions of dollars in ticket transactions each year. The company works with more than 240 airlines and gives over 10,000 travel agencies access to its systems. Technical work spans large-scale transaction data processing, financial settlement systems, data engineering and travel data analytics.
Founded in 1984, following U.S. airline deregulation, ARC is based in the United States and serves customers globally. Its stated focus is on actionable insights supporting strategic business decisions across the air travel commerce ecosystem.
