Assort Health is a healthcare AI company founded in 2023 that builds a voice agent platform for medical practices. The system maintains a single, continuous patient conversation across call, text and message, covering the full patient journey from referrals and scheduling through intake and follow-up. It integrates with clinical EHR and PMS systems and takes account of provider preferences.
The technical work spans conversational AI, speech recognition and natural language processing, together with healthcare IT integration. Underpinning the platform is what the company describes as the largest specialty healthcare voice dataset in the world: 62,000 care protocols and 1.6m decision pathways drawn from more than 20 specialties, among them orthopaedics, cardiology, dermatology and ophthalmology.
The platform has handled more than 190m patient interactions across thousands of providers. Reported outcomes include average hold times cut from 11 minutes to under one minute, a first-call resolution rate above 90%, and millions of dollars in new revenue captured by the practices using it.
