Atlanta Beltline, Inc. (ABI) is the official implementation agency overseeing the Atlanta Beltline, a 22-mile rail-to-trail redevelopment program encircling the core of Atlanta. Founded in 2006, the organization manages the planning, development, and execution of the corridor, which connects 45 neighborhoods for recreation, commerce, and cultural expression.
The project operates across urban redevelopment, public transit, and real estate development. Key scale metrics include over $10 billion in economic development spurred, a goal of 50,000 permanent jobs, 5,600 units of affordable housing, and 1,300 acres of greenspace development.
ABI works with local communities and partner organizations to build a more socially and economically resilient Atlanta. Its work promotes inclusive transportation systems, affordable housing, public art exhibitions, and community-focused programs for health, wellness, and resident retention.
