Delta Dental of Missouri is the state's leading dental benefits provider and a 501(c)(4) non-profit organisation founded in 1954. It sells individual and group dental insurance plans and, through its DeltaVision programme, vision benefits, serving individuals, children and families as well as employer groups. The company reports serving over 1,600 companies and millions of members.
Its dental plans are delivered through an extensive network of participating dentists and are backed by membership in the Delta Dental Plans Association, which allows coverage to extend to all 50 states, Puerto Rico and beyond. Beyond Missouri, the organisation also operates as Delta Dental of South Carolina.
As a non-profit with a mission focused on advancing oral and overall health, Delta Dental of Missouri directs a share of its resources to community giving.
