Ludus builds an all-in-one digital ticketing and management platform for performing arts organisations. Its technical work spans an online ticketing system, a patron CRM, digital marketing tools, fundraising software and volunteer management systems, combining ticketing, marketing, fundraising, memberships, concessions and volunteer management in a single product. The platform serves more than 5,000 organisations.
The company was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Ada, Michigan, with roots in West Michigan. It employs nearly 70 people and raised $12m in growth funding in 2025. Its customers include K-12 schools, colleges and universities, community theatres and performing arts centres across the United States.
Ludus traces its origin to a high school theatre program; its first ticket sales, for a production of Phantom of the Opera, totalled $40,000. The company was established to address operational challenges facing performing arts organisations. Its customer terms include no contracts and no setup fees, with support provided by human staff.
