QuickNode is a blockchain infrastructure platform that supplies enterprise-grade RPC and API services to developers and companies building onchain applications. Founded in 2017 and now valued at $800m, the company has grown from a focused RPC service into a broader platform spanning more than 80 chains. It processes over 500 billion API requests a month - billions a day - for hundreds of thousands of builders worldwide, and reports 99.99% uptime with API response times it says are 2.5x faster than alternatives.
For engineers working on machine-learning systems, data infrastructure and large-scale distributed computing, the appeal is the operating environment. The technical domains in play include high-performance distributed systems, multi-chain API platforms, Web3 infrastructure and enterprise-scale financial systems, applied to verticals such as cryptocurrency exchanges, stablecoins and payments, blockchain analytics, Layer 1 blockchains and developer tooling. Reliability at that request volume and latency sensitivity are the central engineering constraints.
QuickNode employs a global team of more than 120 people and operates on a distributed basis. It has raised over $95m from investors including Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SoftBank and Seven Seven Six Fund. The stated mission is to let teams build, scale and ship without compromise.
