Founded in 1959 by thirteen companies across six counties, WCI is an employer association based in Asheville, North Carolina. The organization supports employers across Western North Carolina, the South Carolina Upstate, Eastern Tennessee, and Western Virginia, servicing more than 800 work sites.
WCI provides a range of services and resources aimed at fostering more positive, compliant, and productive workplaces. Its offerings include compliance training and counseling, leadership development, supervisory development, and employee training. The association also handles health benefits administration, human resource development, and safety services.
